State of Connecticut Blue Card Security Guard Training

DR Security & Training is an authorized by the State of Connecticut, to provide the Armed Security Guard Blue Card training and qualification.

Instruction and discussion for the CT Blue Card training includes complete familiarization with the nomenclature for all weapons which the guard is authorized to carry in the performance of his or her duties. Use of firearms and standard safety precautions must be emphasized.  Loading and unloading, position, sight alignment, proper grip, trigger control and effective range of the respective weapons must be covered prior to firing.  All authorized weapons should be fired for familiarization.  All handguns which the guard is authorized to carry in his or her duties must be fired for qualification (separately).
